Square root diagram: What is it?
I have made a diagram showing the value of every square root, from 1 up to 1500. One pixel in width stands for the number that the square root is taken of (1,2,3,...,1500). 1 pixel in height stands for 0.1 of the square root's value.
Number 1 is the first pixel column (i.e. the first pixel in width) of the image, and is 10 pixels high (marked blue), because the square root of 1 is 1. Number 2 is illustrated in the second pixel of width, with a height of 14 pixel, because the square root of two is 1.414... .
Lines are marked in a lighter blue every 10 pixels. This is a grid to help you get orientated. The diagram is a simple image done in Paint.
