I use this domain to share some PHP scripts and pictures I have done, as well as index the videos I have uploaded onto my YouTube account.About Me
You can contact me through my contact form.I live in Switzerland and am studying programming at the University of Zürich. I started programming in PHP, my first programming language, in the beginning of 2007. I know some Java now thanks to the courses at university.
I speak French, German and English natively; English being the language I speak the worst of the three. Languages interest me a lot: I'm currently learning Dutch and know some basic Spanish. I also like looking at languages and being able to identify them (written and spoken). I'd love to learn Russian one day.
While I'm not much of a gamer, I enjoy a good game, such as Tomb Raider III, Mirror's Edge or MineCraft. I've been spending a lot of time on MineCraft and run a little 10-slot server you can reach at 69.162.117.102:25565.
Music is something I enjoy a lot. I like bands such as Placebo, Tegan & Sara, The Cure, UnderOATH, Sigur Rós, Alesana and We Came As Romans, to name a few. I've played the piano for 5 years, but was never particularly good or passionate about it.
I'm part of the CuteNews support team (user name (lKj)) and like to give a helping hand to CuteNews users whenever I can, which hasn't been that often these past months.
Domain history
I originally purchased this domain in December 2006 to host my fan site about Californian nu-metal band KoRn, after running a website on a shared host for a couple of years. The site got closed in May 2007 due to lack of interest, too much work and being ripped off by others.Some random temporary pages followed thereafter. Having started PHP by the start of 2007, I still enjoyed programming and decided in August 2007 to use this place to index my script(s) (only sudoPHP by then) and YouTube videos. From there, it slowly evolved to what you see now.
My day counter script and UTF-8 CuteNews are the most popular pages.
